EcoSwitch

The HYDAC EcoSwitch is a hydraulic control manifold combined with a double pump. The basic idea is to switch one of the double pump’s pump stages to depressurised circulation in the case of low requirements. The pump stage is switched from depressurised circulation to the system and vice versa on a hydraulic-mechanical basis by means of two valves: one pilot valve and a main control valve that opens and closes the connection to the tank.
For machines that cannot use the advantages of variable-speed control, HYDAC EcoSwitch provides a simple solution for reducing loss in the hydraulic system. Another advantage is that EcoSwitch does not need any electronics, sensors or software and can easily be integrated into the hydraulic system, for example via the high pressure carry-over (HPCO) in an open-centre system. The EcoSwitch is independent of the drive technology, which means that it can be integrated into a conventional machine.
