Our drive controllers in the HFI (HYDAC Frequency Inverter) series control the speed or torque of three-phase motors.
We use our drive controllers to implement drive solutions for hydraulic and electromechanical systems. Our drive solutions include simple component sets as well as complete drive system solutions. Be it electromechanical cylinders or hydraulic systems: Our drive controllers are the missing link. They make it possible to network drive systems, reduce the number of components and the space required, minimise complexity and create efficiency.
Our drive controllers differ in terms of how they are mounted and how they are used.
MM (Motor Mounted) devices are mounted on standard asynchronous motors to control their speed. The advantage here is that no additional control cabinet is required. The drive controller is mounted on the motor like a backpack. Solutions like this are available up to an output of 22 kW.
CM (Cabinet Mounted) devices are used to control three-phase synchronous motors. These devices are used in dynamic applications, such as rapid directional changes, high positioning accuracy and precise force/pressure control. These devices must be mounted in a control cabinet. Solutions like this are available up to an output of 170 kW per individual axis.
WM (Wall Mounted) devices are used for speed-controlled operation of standard asynchronous motors with higher power outputs. These devices must be mounted in a control cabinet or on a wall. Solutions like this are available up to an output of 250 kW per individual axis.
