Compared to electrohydraulic systems, the ICU offers decisive advantages: a longer service life, greater resistance to contamination, temperature independence and significantly lower energy consumption.

Thanks to the large spool stroke of the LX directional control valves and the extremely high accuracy of the ICU control, the system offers very high precision and the ability to compensate for fluctuating load pressures reliably and quickly. To minimise your commissioning work and compensate for tolerances, the flow rate's start and end points are calibrated at the factory. Such precision and control is usually only seen in servo valves. In contrast to electrohydraulic systems, the system also operates without any hysteresis, i.e. the system reacts to changes immediately and is repeatable. This makes it the ideal basis for dynamic tasks such as assistance and automation systems. In some applications, it's even possible to dispense with additional sensors, which significantly simplifies the implementation of assistance systems.
