Founded in 1963 in Saarland as a company for hydraulic accessories and run as a family business, HYDAC has continued to develop. HYDAC now has over 50 national companies, around 500 sales and service partners, 14 product areas and around 10,000 employees worldwide.

HYDAC Engineering AG is the Swiss branch of the globally active HYDAC International group of companies based in Sulzbach, Germany.
Since 2007, HYDAC Engineering AG has been an independent Swiss subsidiary and, with around 38 employees and a turnover of over CHF 20 million, is one of the largest and most experienced hydraulic suppliers in Switzerland.
The key to success for HYDAC Engineering AG was and is to produce customized hydraulic units and subsystems according to the latest technical standards. These are developed by a young and highly qualified team of engineers and designers. Design and application are always geared towards the needs of the market and customers.
HYDAC is a globally active company with a broad product portfolio. This ranges from components and subsystems to complex, controlled and regulated hydraulic drive systems that are used in both stationary and mobile industries.
With over fifty foreign subsidiaries and more than 500 sales and service partners in over one hundred countries, HYDAC is able to meet the needs of its customers almost anywhere in the world.
